Help/Support Edit IPA file from iFile without installing

Hey guys,

 

I recently replaced my iPad Air since its screen was broken. It was on iOS 9.0.2. The replacement came with iOS 7.1.2. I have an app which I wish to install which is compatible with iOS 8+ (Pokemon Go). Is there any way to edit the IPA file without having to install it? 

 

I already converted a copy into zip, decompressed and changed the Info.plist. Recompiling it is difficult, so I am asking if it is possible to edit without extracting. Or if there is an easy way to recompile it, that is also fine

also sometimes the game that you changed it's info.plist to lower ios don't work if the game designed for ios 8

Better way:

1.) Transfer the .ipa via WinSCP.

2.) Open the .ipa via Winrar.

3.) Go the Info.plist and change whatever you need.

4.) Lastly, transfer it back to your iDevice and install it.
