Cydia wont install anything and cant rejailbreak/unjailbreak either

    Hi,

     

    I am in some serious shit. I have iPhone 4 and my iOS is 4.10.01. Pretty old, I know but the reason to this is that I jailbroke it and installed a lot of applications so I was too lazy to reinstall everything again every time after an upgrade so I decided to just leave it like that. It worked fine for a while but as new iOS versiones came up, many of my applications stopped working. I didnt care as long as Cydia and my packages were working all right. However, at some moment the Cydia icon just disappeared. I dont remember having deleted it myself so why is gone is beyond me. But I didnt care either, most packages were still working anyway so who cares.

     

    However, yesterday I really wanted to update one of the packages because it was not working alright so I searched the web for a method to restore Cydia WITHOUT touching my applications. I came across a site that assured I only needed to rejailbreak with redsnow without checking all the options. I did so and guess what?? Cydia came back but ALL of my packages and settings were gone! I got very upset but well, it was a chance to start over and reinstall everything I had with the latest versions. But guess again, Cydia throws a lot of errors when trying to install something. It also asks me to upgrade essentials but I get errors too and cant complete the process. So since Cydia is useless I decided that the best thing to do is to make the most of this and this time upgrade the whole iOS and start over but I CANT do that either! There is no option in my iPhone general settings to upgrade and I cant connect to iTunes either because it wont detect my iPhone. I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and EACH Apple component in my computer like 1056464 times and nothing. I tried iFunBox too and nothing. I tried all my USB ports and still nothing. I can browse my media from my computer but thats about it.

     

    Why is it all this? Its really frustrating and I dont know what to do. I virtually tried everything I could. Please help!

    What are the errors Cydia gives you?

     

    iOS 4 is outdated and probably even Cydia Tweaks don't support it anymore.

        STEP 2: Download Sideloadly and install it on your Windows or Mac.

        📖 PC Installation Instructions

        STEP 1: Download the pre-hacked .IPA file from the link above to your computer. To download from the iOSGods App, see our iOSGods App IPA Download Tutorial which includes a video example.
        STEP 2: Download Sideloadly and install it on your Windows or Mac.
        STEP 3: Open Sideloadly on your computer, connect your iOS device, and wait until your device name appears in Sideloadly.
        STEP 4: Once your iDevice is recognized, drag the modded .IPA file you downloaded and drop it into the Sideloadly application.
        STEP 5: Enter your Apple Account email, then press “Start.” You’ll then be asked to enter your password. Go ahead and provide the required information.
        STEP 6: Wait for Sideloadly to finish sideloading/installing the hacked IPA. If there are issues during installation, please read the note below.
        STEP 7: Once the installation is complete and you see the app on your Home Screen, you will need to go to Settings -> General -> Profiles / VPN & Device Management. Once there, tap on the email you entered from step 6, and then tap on 'Trust [email protected]'.
        STEP 8: Now go to your Home Screen and open the newly installed app and everything should work fine. You may need to follow further per app instructions inside the hack's popup in-game.

        NOTE: iOS/iPadOS 16 and later, you must enable Developer Mode. For free Apple Developer accounts, you will need to repeat this process every 7 days.
