General [Important] Do not Download Latest drivers for Nvidia!

Multiple users have reported unstable behaviour after installing the latest Nvidia drivers. At this point it does not seem recommended to update to this driver (364.47) and wait until the issue is resolved. In case you updated and are experiencing problems: here you can find the older drivers.

 

It looks like this issue is caused by stacking the new driver with the old one. Doing a clean install (remove the existing driver using DDU and install the latest again) seems to prevent problems. Nvidia is aware of the issue and is investigating. In the meantime they advise users to revert back to the previous driver until a solution is found.
