Help/Support How to send Messages from MobileTerminal ?

So i was thinking is there any way to send messages from one jailbroken iPhone to another jailbroken iPhone via Mobile Terminal?

I remember there was something called netchat on windows on command prompt  where we had to type the '_netchat ip address of other computer <messsage you want to send>

I know  that method was implemented for computers connected over LAN, but here i am talking about sending a message over the internet via terminal, Any ideas? About how it is done?
