Help/Support Flex 2 - ''Reprocess'' Applications due to different version

Hi Folks,

 

So I downgraded a certain app in order to see if there's something interesting to hack on older versions which might be adapted for newer ones. One of the tools I use is Flex 2, which lets you process the binary of an app in order to make the functions and classes visible for closer examination.

 

Now that I downgraded the app my initial thought was that I have to process the binary freshly because between versions the functions might differ.

Even if I jump back in time 2 years, Flex keeps the functions and classes of the version you have processed once.

 

Is there any way to process the binary once again to get the old classes and functions?

Hey there,

 

Go to /var/mobile/Documents/Flex/ and delete the com.company.appname.dat file or move it out of that folder. Then you can reprocces the app inside Flex.
