There's an annoying computer virus that has literally become viral in CEA. It hides and turns all files in your removable disks to shortcuts. Here's a tutorial so you can solve your techie problem personally.

1. Insert the infected flash drive.
2. Allow viewing of hidden files.
>>For Win8: Go to My Computer, click View, check Hidden items checkbox.
>>For Win7 and Win XP: Go to Control Panel, click Folder Options. A dialogue box will appear. Click View tab, in the Advance settings, click Show hidden files, folders, or drives.
3. Open the Task Manager or press Ctrl+Alt+Del then choose Task Manager.
4. Search wscript.exe in the Details tab. Click it then click the End Process button.
5. Now, go to My Computer then type this on the search box: "*.vbs" (exclude quotation marks). Once you see a file that's named as kpcgrhynko..vbs, click it then press Shift+Delete to permanently delete the file. Or you can directly type kpcgrhynko..vbs on the search bar then permanently delete the file once it appears. The file may have a copy on your flash drive, Temp, Startup, or App folder. Just make sure to delete all the copies.
6. Go back to your flash drive window and delete all the shortcuts.
7. Unhide all your files by typing these on your command prompt: attrib -h -r -s /s /d [assigned letter on your flash drive]:\*.* (Example attrib -h -r -s /s /d H:\*.*) Press enter.
>>To open command prompt for Win8: Press windows button then type cmd, press enter.
>>For Win7 and Win XP: Click Start button then click All Programs, Accessories, and on Command Prompt.

Bonus: If you're afraid dealing with cmd, you could create your own file unhider and it lets you automatically unhide a file by dragging the file to the unhider. To create one, follow the steps:

1. Open Notepad.

2. Type these: attrib -h -s %1

3. Save file as Unhider.bat (Make sure to replace the .txt file extension to .bat)

4. Now you could just drag the hidden file into the unhider to automatically unhide the file.

Nope. No need to hide.

Since this isn't a tutorial about iOS I think this section is what suits it best. :)
