Not sure what I'm doing wrong but even after I did that, it's still not working for me.

So for me it's not working. I uninstalled the hack and reinstalled it. The game works fine, but the hack doesn't. I also tried this method out a few months ago when there was the same situation as now and it didn't work back then either.

What I did is

1. Uninstalled the hack

2. Uninstalled the App

3. Installed the App (opened it browsed a bit) then forced quit

4. Reinstalled the Hack It Worked

So the hack installed but the settings don't change anything.
