Unfortunately this is worthless.  1 hit kill works on YOU TOO!  Actually, it's worse than that.  The opponent always seem to hit my hull every time right away.  They just go through all the stuff blocking my hull.  Meanwhile I have to fight through all their stuff before I can get to their haul.

Anyway, with 1 hit kill on I lose ALL THE TIME.  With 1 hit kill off, I can start winning again.

 

I was hoping this would take the strain off the grinding but....nope.
