From the looks of it, you need to manually thin your binary since I believe @Battousai forgot to include it.

Your tutorial did not help me whatsoever, nor did the other tutorials I found for using Clutch. I did manage to however crack the app, but I cannot find the binary file for Asphalt 8.

The binary file is located inside /var/mobile/Containers/Bundle/Asphalt 8/Asphalt8.app/

 

But, you will need the cracked binary to be able to thin it. So you should extract the binary from the cracked IPA or install the Cracked IPA and get the binary from the location above then continue the process of thinning/patching it.

That's the thing. After I used clutch and cracked the app, there's no binary.

Well I managed to get the binary. When I used it on armconverter as mentioned in your tutorial, I am given "Error occurred while thinning the binary. Contact Us for help." I did more research for a different method of thinning the library and found this post. When I attempted to do the "lipo" command I am told "fatal error: lipo: input file (filename) must be a fat file when the -thin option is specified". The guy who made the tutorial stated that its already thinned (???). So with that knowledge, I took the binary and replaced it with the original binary of Asphalt8 (obviously) and set the permissions and whatnot. Now my game doesn't open.

Looks like you'll need to wait for Battousai to update the .deb a bit later for now. Unless you can get a binary patch going.
