App you want hacked: Space Miner Wars

Version of the app: 1.1.0

iTunes URL for the app: https://itunes.apple.com/en/app/space-miner-wars/id966946904?mt=8

Requested features: Infinite shields

Jailbroken or Non-Jailbroken: Jailbroken

Thank you!

Using iGameGuardian, GamePlayer or GameGem, I've found that during a battle, you can search for your maximum shield amount (before you take damage, and can also be done during the "scouting" period). The variable is a 64-bit float. After taking some damage and finding the right float variable, you can lock it and have infinite shields. You must disable the lock before you go back to your base or else the game will crash.

The only problem with this approach is that you need to redo it for EVERY battle. The variable doesn't carry over to each new battle.

My request is if someone can please make a hack that allows this to always stay active.

Thanks!

I don't know how to find the shield amount!?

Is it the blue thing under the green bar?

I tried fuzzy search, how do you find it?

Posted

Yes it is the blue bar. You need to first know how much your max shields are. This changes as you upgrade shields and get new ships. Check your ship data to see the max.

Then search that value as a float and see what changed when you take damage.

How do I see what changed? Can the ship data be accesed in a a attack?

Here is a step by step approach:

In the ship view menu, you can see what your ship's max shields are. Notice that for this ship, the max shields are 4000.

Now we go to a battle.

This is the scouting view. The battle hasn't started yet, and you still have the option to leave this battle without losing. This is where we want to do our initial search for the max shields.

We search for the max shields amount, and notice that I choose F64 which is a 64 bit Float variable.

Here are the results.

Now we start the battle and allow our shields to take some damage.

Notice how my shields have taken some damage. Now we check which value changed.

Notice how the third value has changed. We want to save this address and lock its value. In iGameGuardian, you touch and hold on the value and it allows you to save it. Then you go to the Save tab at the bottom and flick the lock switch to "On".

Here you can see the value locked. Now we go back to the battle and finish it.

2016_01_02_IMG_5814.png

Notice how the shields amount is not changing.

This is the victory screen. At this point or earlier, you need to disable the lock on the shield's value. If you press Continue while the value is still locked, the game WILL crash and you may or may not receive the loot.

Keep in mind that while searching for the values, you want to be quick. If you are slow, the game can boot you.

I hope this helps!
