So, I got a friend with jailbreak a VPN, he asked me if it will track his cydia usage/jailbreak things, the VPN is a app called "betternet". Any answers?

Depends. Most VPNs keep logs of what the user does.

yes most VPNs sell some information to 3rd party's. but all VPNs can see what you do. Like MITM
