I am clearly new and don't know how things are done around here. I found you guys from DiDAs hacks but i have noticed in some threads regarding hack that most of the comments consist of "thanks" and "good job". The problem that i have is i would have to go through a bunch of pages to find someones comment that actually contributes to what the thread was all about..... I'm not trying to tell you guys to stop or change things around here but has anyone else thought the same thing as me? Maybe the "thank you" comments can just be used as a button.

Sorry for the rant but its just a little hard to find good comments around here.

I think my main concern is the good comments are lost in the pages of 1000 "likes" and i have to waste more time finding them.... what if they implement an algorithm that counts the characters and pushes that to the top. But NOT a "thumbs up, thumbs down" system.

This guy is smart

So you're saying like a system where it counts the number of letters in a comment and the ones that have more than "x" get pushed to the top? Those would be the helpful comments. And the ones that are less than "x" get pushed to the end.
