1. Access iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch backups via iCloud.com

There are several ways you can access to your iCloud backup. To login icloud.com could be the most common way. On your computer, sign in the website (https://www.icloud.com/) with your apple ID user name and password. All types of backup files would be list on the website, you are able to click to access certain data.

 

Pros: It is a very convenient and secured way of accessing personal data. By this way, you can also upload some data to iCloud from computer, such as pages, contacts, photos, notes.

 

Cons: This method limits the access to wide range of data, such as whatsApp attachments, photo stream, call history, iMessage, SMS, and MMS messages. Besides, iCloud.com is only giving you access to iwork files not pdf and other documents.

literally, i don't like iCloud, it offers only 5GB for free backup.

What's more, importantly, it would erase all my previous phone data once i restored the iCloud backup on iPhone 

that's also why i use the third-party tool
