[Tutorial] How to Get iFile Working on iOS 8.1.x!

iFile has now been updated for iOS8! Download it from the BigBoss repo or from here: http://iosgods.com/topic/2301-ifile-210-1-now-compatible-with-ios-8-iphone-6-and-iphone-6-plus-download-link/.

 

NOTE:Cydia Source was updated same with packages witch now have packages with the right name on them plus a new link for advance user!!!

Hi it's me Crimson also known as Insidious have not been on in a while!

Now to get iFile to work u have to install this patch I have here for you today this was not made by me nor do I take credit am just posting so people here can use to install game hacks and deb files. Please note this is a beta/free version normal users please wait until a working version is release by the developer.

Note: This is the free verison of iFile.

How to Install iFile the Manual way:
1. Open WinSCP and SSH into your iDevice.

2. Navigate to /private/var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall and extract iFile and it's dependencies in there.

Note: If you dont have AutoInstall folder, create it yourself!

3. Set Permissions to 777 to all the deb files:

4. Open Terminal/Console on WinSCP (CTRL + T) and enter the "reboot" command.

5. Once you boot back into your home screen you should see the new iFile icon. If you don't see the iFile icon, reboot your iDevice again using the reboot command or follow the same steps again.

private/var/root/media    but not seeing cydia i even tried your source install iFile but still doesnt show on my spring board

If the folders don't exist, create them. :)
