Help/Support How to Duplicate/separate gears in Injustice God Among Us??Suggestions?

So I played against this guy that had the same item 2 more times in the character, all his characters had the same item, that is not possible in the game because example of you get one of the armor that he has if he earns anothe one of the same gear card it will merge together so you can only use in one character at time.

Anyone have any idea how can I do that?
