    So, I got the game here and I had to delete and redownload because for some reason it kept loading the old version instead of the new one. When I loaded into the game, my save was gone. Is there any way to get my progress back?

    You should not delete the game, just sideload with new version it will overwrite existed version on device as long as using the same certificate

    Once deleted it gone, unless you saved your progress using facebook/ google login or whatever game offered
