General Why is Linux so "unpopular"

I've seen a lot of programs be released for Windows & Mac including various jailbreak tools leaving Linux out Ive been wondering why Linux is so "unpopular" with the developers of these programs

But it's still a very good OS no matter the age Windows came out long ago but people still use that Linux has new distros still coming out to this day they include Windows why not Linux

It's not unpopular, I see it as an OS for the advanced users who like to fiddle with things.

its best osx somehow, it got many updates and there are many versions. Are you talking about console linux or desktop version developed just because to be more friendly with computer users?
