App Is there a way to crack in-app purchases for an old, OLD iOS?

Talking iOS 3.x here.

The game is Glyder 2, which has been removed from the App Store since a little after iOS 4.x first rolled out due to collision bugs. I'm running it on an iPod Touch with iOS 3.1.3. The game lets you equip wings through a Customize menu. All of the wings are supposed to be collectable by playing the game, but there are a number of wings that are supposed to be revealed on the map after you accumulate enough points by having Facebook friends who also play the game. However, even when you can't collect the wings in-game, they still appear in the Customize menu, display their models as a preview when you select them, and have an option to unlock them via an in-app purchase.

I see everyone recommending Satella, but again, OLD iOS—Satella doesn't seem to work for it. If there's any way to crack these IAPs, or do ANYTHING that gets the game to display these Facebook wings in their "unlocked" state, PLEASE let me know.

There were iapfree and localiappstore back in the day but they both got closed now sadly

if a game saves data locally then no need to look for stuff like satella for free in app purchases coz there will already be modded ipas with free shop or stuff unlocked that you can get

It does have local save data, but the file is in binary and unreadable without some kind of decryption program. Also, no one has made a modded IPA for this game. I planned to request a hack, but there was a requirement to have made at least 3 posts in other topics before I'd be allowed to submit a request, which was a problem because Glyder is kinda the only old iOS game I care this deeply about.

I found a solution, but through brute force. I ended up opening the game on a newer device with an iOS that could connect to the App Store, legitimately buying the IAPs on that, then transferring the save file from that device back to the older one. That worked.

Yeah Glyder 2 saves everything locally so you are actually in a good spot even without using tools like Satella

For older iOS like 3.x the best way is usually editing the save file or using a modded IPA but like you said no one has made one for this game yet

Your method of buying the IAPs on a newer device and moving the save file back to the old one is probably the best and cleanest solution

It is a bit of a workaround but it works because the unlocks are saved in the game data not tied to the device or iOS version
