Help/Support "Please kill game and reopen in XMOD"

Hi,

 

I am having trouble with the newest update to the clash of clans mod (version 2.8.0 for the mod). The mod and the game have both been uninstalled and reinstalled to make sure that the newest updates were being employed (Running version 7.200.19 of the game). I restarted my iPad4 (iOS 7.1.2) numerous times to no avail. The mod was working fine before I had to update to the newest clash of clans update on xmod - and it doesn't let you use an earlier one in the history because when you install an earlier mod it says you need to update the mod whenever I login to the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It is. The Clash mod says this mod (2.8.0) ONLY supports COC 7.200.19 (which is the version of COC I have)

Didn't work: Did the same thing it has been doing where I open XMOD, click launch by the game, game opens, can click the spaceship icon to get to screen that says capture/record/forum. When I click the XMOD button under those, it says "Please kill game and relaunch it in Xmodgames".

I killed it and the xmod app prior to rebooting.

Do you know if there is any way you can use an older mod version? I know how to install the previous version (which works on the current version of the game as well... and was working for me before I had to update the mod) but when I reinstall to the earlier mod, it says "please update to the newest mod" and won't let me use it

 

 

EDIT: actually I reinstalled to the old mod and it said to please update but it let me use it.... so yay!! haha. I just won't update the mod anymore unless clash gets another update. Thanks for the help!
