Help/Support Mod Apk updates

So my question basically is how to update a modded apk game to the new version more then once? it might seem interesting but basically when i install lets say WC4 mod apk i can update it once when it gets updated it any webpage but more than that it wont allow, simply the install will always fail until i uninstall it and install it again losing progress in the mean time,and then can i repeat this again 1 update max and the need to uninstall again.

This forum is mainly for iOS. To answer your question there are 2 ways: 

1. Ask the modder to update it or tell him to share the source code with you

2. You do it yourself from scratch, required modding knownledge
