Follow this: if you're on iOS 8.4 and up the apps won't be named.

The apps will have lots of numbers and letters. To find the app you want just tap every folder until you see a file that has the apps name in it. For example, it'll be something like

Ushxdybvkmu628ujsnxi....

Ishudbcudncu1639xhveunxsijxs...

Aaosn5oy7t97kjybeijeih.....

Say the app I'm looking for is clash of clans.

I tap on these files and if I find the right one they'll be a file called clashofclans.app

I'm positive you're not on the right path cause it can't just be blank, if you have apps this is where they're files would go

i'm on 9.0.2

Ohhhhh this must be the reason, I haven't worked with the iOS 9+ filesystem.
