Second this.  Love the game but it became a massive grind one week in.  One of those lame games where you login, play for 5 seconds then you're done and have to wait 3 hours.

Maybe another option would be - don't lose resources when you spend - might have to think local with this game.

Can’t figure out the gems but if you make a brand new account on the game on computer and use cheat engine for the first few minutes of your new account like before you even unlock the ability to have gems you can change your amount of gold per 9 seconds to basically an infinite amount, but it does go away after you earn it a few times.
