Hello, sorry to hear about your situation. First of all, you’re only allowed one transfer per year subscription, have you transferred before? Secondly, once you’re too far into your subscription then the transfer will be ineligible. I’m unsure exactly how long into the subscription is the cut off but I do know there is one. I know this isn’t the information you were wishing for but I hope it helps.

Thanks for the response no I haven’t transferred and I guess it is 6 months. I was under the assumption you could only transfer 1 time in the first 6 months and then once more later on but this makes sense thank you

You have to purchase a new subscription for app+ on your new device if you are outside of the the required “transfer time frame.”
