Question regarding Free IAP

Hi @Puddin,

A few days ago I saw this video of yours on your YT page, where you showed off a mod where you were able to do In-App-Purchases for free: 

 

Is this still possible? Does it require jailbreaking? I would highly appreciate it if you would be willing to share this hack/cheat in specific with me; moreover, I've tried injecting Laxus's free IAP .deb tweak into the decrypted IPA and then sideloading it, but I had no luck unfortunately.

Reason I'm asking: I know there's a mod IPA that works perfectly fine (& I've tried it before), but I would still prefer for the currency to stay on my account... so I can play with an official version without any hassle

Dang okay, thank you for your response, do you mean it doesn't work with the old version due to the game forcing you to update or because the devs somehow patched it (via a server-sided hotfix presumably, ignoring all purchase web-requests from the older version)?

Because if it's due to the first reason, that can still be bypassed by MiTMing the game's outgoing and incoming network requests manually (which I am willing to do myself).

Another reason I'm so onto this topic is because if we record the outgoing HTTP requests the game for example makes when purchasing a 10K gold pack, we could just write a script that repeats it over and over, essentially granting you infinite currency; I'm just really interested as to what the request body would be like, as the values are encrypted, but we could try copy pasting it and replicating the request in a newer server request format and checking if that would work.

Update: I've tried installing an older version (like, the oldest one I could find in the build history of the CPM2 app), and then trying to bypass the update screen via some manual MiTM stuff. Turned out it was way simpler than I had expected it to be, and yep I'm in. So far so good.

And yeah. I'll just need an older version of the app with the free purchases tweak (preferably the same version you used in the vid, the one that used to work)... would be appreciated

And uh, final thing, I think it would be better if we talked about this in private somehow... I don't necessarily want the devs catching onto this.
