Help/Support Final step of binary thinning

I am trying to thin the binary for Asphalt 8.

Once i get to "cd /var/mobile lipo Originalbinaryname -thin armv7 -o Newbinaryname"

I get a fatal error "fatal error: lipo: input file (Asphalt8) must be a fat file when the -thin option is specified"

Any help would be appreciated

It means the binary is already thinned, or is in an unsupported format

So following the entire tutorial was not necessary? or does it not apply to all games? I am very confused. When using the binary after cracking the game with clutch, it does not work even with correct permissions and such.

edit: im going to try to use an IPA downloaded to my desktop from appcake, and use the zip, unarchive method to obtain a binary that way, and see if that works.

 

edit2: thinned binary from a downloaded IPA and that finally worked with the command line, but DID NOT work to get airMAX asphalt 8 cheat working. Huge waste of time, but I did learn some new shit today.

Thinning the binary might be necessary for SOME hacks, not all. But since iOS 9, most hacks need updating to support it.
