Effective solutions to avoid infinite opponent lives in dnSpy and live offset patcher?

I managed to find values using dnSpy and the live offset patcher, such as "set_currenthp". However, the problem is that the enemies also have infinite life. I know you have to work around this somehow, but is there a particularly easy way to do this or a newer solution? Many thanks in advance.
