Help/Support Increasing my Laptop performance for Video Rendering [Tips]

Guys i bought a gaming capture card hd but my current laptop is trash...

Once i launch the app and start recording ps3/ios gaming trough the gaming capture game, the screen is laggy...

I am not even recording with the highest resolution, i am recording with 720p hd and lowest quality.

I can record with the standard resolution but the quality is bad and i really don't want to upload videos with bad quality.

I'll buy a good pc, but its not on my plans atm because i have other priorities and this next 3/4 months i won't be able to buy a new one, so i was wondering if you guys could help me with some tips.. I can spend some money "upgrading" my current one but i just don't know what would increase my performance significantly, more Ram, add a SSD?

 

What would be your suggestion to increase my laptop's performance for video editing/capture?

Better save and get a new and decent pc

Yeah because laptop's aren't very customisable either.

My oldest one after 10 minutes was totally overheated

This one doesn't even gets hot, but it has crap specs.. Slow as hell
