Still confused about what spheres are "safe". Is any sphere safe as long as you don't use it in arenas or raids? For example if I have Thief Crowns on a squad that I just use to farm items, as long as none of the units are on any public squads, is that considered safe? Or will Gumi run random checks on your account for stuff like that??

If you can or already have obtained a sphere, injecting more will not cause anything. If you are injecting a sky orb or something you cannot get at the moment, be cautious. Do not put a sphere you have not physically gotten on your leader, because anyone you are friends with can see it. You can use in arena because they cannot see your setup. But definitely do not use it raids unless you are soloing.

Only use spheres you can legally obtain in ranking events -- FH/Arena (this includes one item only stuff like demon striker and blighted seal) at your current situation.
