I'm on iOS 8.1 IPhone 5 Jailbroken. I've been having trouble trying to connect to a modded clash server. I've tried most of the tutorials but when they say go to etc then hosts I have 3 hosts file. Hosts.ae hosts.equiv and hosts.iunsecure. I've tried copying and pasting the ip and the game.clashofclans.com in all 3 files but when I load up Clash it just loads up the regular Clash.

You need to have just a "hosts" file with no extension.

I don't have a regular hosts without the extension. I've tried creating one and putting the ip in there but it didn't work

So how do you exactly make the new hosts file?

Please try to make a hosts file

owner:root

group:wheel

 

User: read,write

Group: read

World: read

 

Don't forgot to make it regular file

Then open it with text viewer and paste

Then but your coc server

Then save it and reboot your iDevice

Example for coc server

0.0.0.0 game.clashofclans.com

Just change the 0.0.0.0 to your ip
