Just a tip to those who are finding the default.ini not found error: try putting the bin files in the same folder as the application, then dragging them onto the application. It worked for me, after searching for so long to fix it...

Also, a question I have is, that this editor shows monster point editing capabilities, has anybody tried it? I don't know if that's feasible/within legal bounds since that does in fact change a value that is somewhat related to currency

Edit: New update seems to have made this app invalid for now

Check my post above; after the NA Urd Uvo update, it doesn't look like you can edit the bin files any longer. If anybody can, then perhaps it's just my own files that were corrupted

It still works, even after Urd update.

If you're having trouble try:

Deleting the data files and then closing and restarting pad to re-download them.

Copy the files to a different directory on your phone and then on your PC instead of directly to the PC.

Delete the PAD bin editor folder and re-extract it before trying to edit the (freshly downloaded) files.

Finally as piggy pointed out - You have to move the .bin files to the Bin Editor folder before opening them.

Since I was forced to make an account just to be able to download PBE 2.8.0 I might as well use it to share a few tips I found on how to effectively use this hack if you're aiming for speed:
- Tip 1 - Don't multiply your team's stats, instead decrease your enemies' stats, It's safer and faster. You could use the multiplier tool but it's better to just set a fixed value for all enemies' HP/ATK/Armor (lvl1 and lvlmax) (You need to edit monster "No. 000 Change All", the one above the other No.000).
I set enemy ATK and Armor to 0 and HP to 101, this is to deal with Parvati in the Arena who has a >1% resolve, just trust me on this one. Alternatively you can set enemy ATK higher and utilize this to save some time by letting enemies with a pre-emptive atk kill themselves by reflecting damage. For instance: You're using a Surtr lead and running Sky Dragon Rush, by setting all the enemies ATK to 200 and HP to 100 all the dragons will be dead and you'd have cleared the dungeon without having to do ANYTHING, not even pressing a button for an active skill or matching an orb, this is because each dragon deals 40% of 200 = 80dmg as a pre-emptive and Surtr counters x2 of the dmg taken so every dragon will be reflected 160dmg and will die.

- Tip 2 - Use actives to clear dungeons faster: Make a team full of monster with active skills that deal damage to all enemies, because of the skill hack (editing data 36 in the original instructions) you will have all skills up at turn 1 (if you have at least one skill boost awakening in the team) then you could button farm with 5 mechdragons that deal 30k dmg because all enemies have only 100HP. Pair that with 1 monster that has a "Reduces cooldown [cd] of other skills" (aka haste) active and you can clear a 10-stage dungeon without matching any orbs, pair 4 dmg actives with 2 haste actives (that form makeshift system) and you can clear endless corridor or almost anything without matching any orbs, Unless your monsters get (skill) bound or have their cds delayed, To get around this I use these farmable Final Fantasy collab cards. Just 2 of them on your team form a system that can clear any dungeon by button farming, no matching needed (if you haven't clicked the links their AS both deals damage and has haste), that leaves room in your team to stack Skill Bind resistance awakening and an unbindable bind-clear-active and maybe damage reduction awakenings to survive 100% gravities, or even a luxurious skill delay resistance card with haste. You can get anything that you're missing by pairing with a friend, Awoken Amaterasu is a godsend because she has 2 SBR, a haste, a bind clear and a heal (gravities still do damage to you after all) so I often used to pair with her to farm Arena.

If you haven't saved any of the above 3 cards then I feel sorry for you, you can get them the next time FF comes around.

-Tip 3 - How to get to rank 400 in a few days:

Farm normal dungeons until KoG then farm KoG until you have 99 sta. From then out if you have a suitable team run both Arena and KoG, otherwise continue with just KoG or better yet Mechdragon Rush from the coin dungeons.

To make farming easier you'll need to use everything in the above 2 tips, for normal dungeons you don't need SBR and bind clears, 5 dragons and a haste are enough. For Arena you need to stack 5 or more SBR (you could still get skill bound at the tamadra stage if a tama first binds a sbr card so you lose those awakening, and then another tama uses skill bind) and the above mentioned bind clear (BFF with A. Ama ftw!).

The next part is where the real magic happens: You will need a macro manager app, what that is is an app that records screen taps and can then play them back, I use HiroMacro. You just have to record your button pressing in KoG once and after that just press play and walk away, watch a movie or something until the hacks clear the dungeon, then you just have to manually enter the next dungeon and repeat. Arena might need a bit more complicated, the macro I saved alternatively spams my 2 FF cards with every few seconds spamming Amaterasu, but I still get stuck on Hino Kagutsuchi and on Thoth due to their CD delay.

If you're on Android another thing that I've found useful is the app xmodgames that has a speed hack, I used it to speed up my arena runs by a lot (set to x100 speed it will only actually double the speed of the animations) a drawback is that it messes up the stamina count and dungeon times. It stopped working for me when I updated my phone to Android 6 (technically CyanogenMod 13) but you might still make use of it.

- Tip 4 - Save scumming: the same way you can extract data21 and data36 you can also backup data63 when you're already inside a dungeon, this contains your dungeon progress and restoring the backup (loading a save) will reset the dungeon to the point where you saved it. There is only a point to this if the data21 and data36 hacks don't work or you want to try completing a dungeon with your skill alone but don't want to risk dying. Here is a list of what all the data files do.

That's all I can think of right now. I've theorized that there's a way to modify some of the data files using PBE to reduce all dungeons to just 1 stage but I'm too lazy to figure it out.

Everyone is welcome to share and add to this guide and I'll humbly ask the OP @TanukiFriedRice to maybe incorporate some of this in the first post so that it doesn't get lost forever, I spent maybe 2 hours writing this up.

EDIT: Since Multiplayer came out the above guide can be extended to those dungeons as well. Machine Hera's dungeon gives as much XP as Arena and Scarlet and Zaerog8 can be spammed for farming MP. I personally don't run these as I already have max skilled Z8 and Scarlet and I only ran Machine Hera a dozen times for awakenings.

If you're afraid of getting banned for using it in multiplayer then relax 'cus the single player mode is exactly the same as non-multiplayer - It's client sided. Heck you could enter multiplayer, disconnect and then activate the hack to finish the dungeon.

I haven't tried entering 2-player mode with the hack enabled yet, I'll do that with my alt when I get my second device fixed but it should work and your only risk is getting reported by the other guy.

One final thing: If you use edited files in the ranking dungeon, only your score will be invalidated, you won't get banned.
