    After three years of full compatibility, Apple should exclude several devices for iOS 16 and iPadOS 16.

    Indeed, the oldest iPhones and iPads currently running iOS 15 are starting to get old.
    We think of the iPhone SE 2016, the iPhone 6s, the iPad 5 or the iPad Pro first named 2015.

    The four devices have one thing in common, the A9 / A9X chip.
    And what about the iPad mini 4 and iPad Air 2 with A8 processor?
     

    On which iPhone, iPod or iPad can I install iOS 16 and iPadOS 16? Here is exclusive information.
     

    IOS 16: SEVEN DEVICES WILL NOT UPGRADE TO THE NEW VERSION

    If iOS 14 had renewed the same devices as iOS 13, iOS 15 had surprised everyone by renewing the same list, a first in the history of Apple's mobile operating system. But after three years of reprieve, some smartphones and tablets will go by the wayside.
     

    Obviously, needless to say that the iPhone 14 will be delivered directly with iOS 16 and an A16 chip.

    But for the others, there will be unhappy customers because Apple will have to part with certain models in order to facilitate the deployment of new products and to better unify its fleet.
     

    IOS 16 COMPATIBLE IPHONE

    NON-IOS 16 COMPATIBLE IPHONE

    iOS 16 will not be available for download on A9 chips, namely:

    - iphone 6s

    - iPhone 6s Plus

    - iPhone SE 2016

    The minimum union should be the A10 chip, which guarantees decent performance for streaming, video games and the interface in general.

    This is the one we had on the Apple TV 4K 2017 for example.

    THE IPADS COMPATIBLE WITH IPADOS 16

    - iPad Pro 2022
    - iPad Pro 2021
    - iPad Pro 12.9 pouces (2016+)
    - iPad Pro 10.5 pouces (2016+)
    - iPad Pro 11 pouces (2018+)
    - iPad Air 3
    - iPad Air 4
    - iPad Air 5 (2022)

    - iPad 7

    IPADS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH IPADOS 16

    iPadOS 16 will likely not be available for download on:

    - iPad Mini 4

    - iPad Air 2

    - iPad 5

    - iPad Pro 9.7 and 12.9 inches (2015)

    The three iPads are starting to get old with an A8, A8X and A9 chip, respectively.

    Therefore, the list of tablets capable of installing iPadOS 16 will be shorter this year, pending new releases like the iPad Pro 2022 as well as the iPad Air 5.

    IOS 16 COMPATIBLE IPODS

    On the iPod side, Apple will keep the 2019 iPod Touch 7 with its A10 Fusion chip. It was already the last representative under iOS 15.

    WHAT'S NEW IN IOS 16 FROM JUNE 2022

    From now on, it remains to wait until next June to discover the new features of iOS 16.

    We imagine that Apple will bet big on AR / VR with the probable presentation of its first mixed reality headset, but also new features on aesthetically because since iOS 7 there have been no major changes.

    MacOS 11 had brought the neuomorphic style, that's something we might see in a few months.

        PC Installation Instructions:
        STEP 1: If necessary, uninstall the app if you have it installed on your iDevice. Some hacked IPAs will install as a duplicate app. Make sure to back it up so you don't lose your progress.
        STEP 2: Download the pre-hacked .IPA file from the link above to your computer. To download from the iOSGods App, see this tutorial topic.
        STEP 3: Download Sideloadly and install it on your PC.
        STEP 4: Open/Run Sideloadly on your computer, connect your iOS Device, and wait until your device name shows up.
        STEP 5: Once your iDevice appears, drag the modded .IPA file you downloaded and drop it inside the Sideloadly application.
        STEP 6: You will now have to enter your iTunes/Apple ID email login, press "Start" & then you will be asked to enter your password. Go ahead and enter the required information.
        STEP 7: Wait for Sideloadly to finish sideloading/installing the hacked IPA. If there are issues during installation, please read the note below.
        STEP 8: Once the installation is complete and you see the app on your Home Screen, you will need to go to Settings -> General -> Profiles/VPN & Device Management. Once there, tap on the email you entered from step 6, and then tap on 'Trust [email protected]'.
        STEP 9: Now go to your Home Screen and open the newly installed app and everything should work fine. You may need to follow further per app instructions inside the hack's popup in-game.

        NOTE: iOS/iPadOS 16 and later, you must enable Developer Mode. For free Apple Developer accounts, you will need to repeat this process every 7 days. Jailbroken iDevices can also use Sideloadly/Filza/IPA Installer to normally install the IPA with AppSync.         Installation Instructions:

        STEP 4: Open/Run Cydia Impactor on your computer then connect your iOS Device and wait until your device name shows up on Cydia Impactor.
        STEP 5: Once your iDevice appears, drag the modded .IPA file you downloaded and drop it inside the Cydia Impactor application.
        STEP 6: You will now be asked to enter your iTunes/Apple ID email login & then your password. Go ahead and enter the required information..
        STEP 7: Wait for Cydia Impactor to finish sideloading/installing the hacked IPA.
        STEP 8: Once the installation is complete and you see the app on your Home Screen, you will now need to go to your Settings -> General -> Profiles & Device Management. Once there, tap on the email you entered from step 6, and then tap on 'Trust [email protected]'.
        STEP 9: Now go to your Home Screen and open the newly installed app and everything should work fine. You may need to follow further instructions inside the hack's popup in-game.

        NOTE: For free Apple Developer accounts you will need to repeat this process every 7 days. Using a disposable Apple ID for this process is suggested but not required. Jailbroken iDevices can skip using Cydia Impactor and just install the IPA mod with AppSync & IPA Installer (or alternatives) from Cydia.
