Help/Support Downloading .zip games using Filza

So, I have a jailbroken device (IPad 5th gen IOS 14.7.1) so I don’t really use a pc unless I really have to at this point as it struggles to even run windows which is what it came with soo.

anyway to the point, when I use the iOSGods repo app, some of the games come as a zip file, when I use Filza to unzip I explore the files and tend to be unable to find the ipa, I’m not sure if I’m missing anything or if I’m supposed to unzip at all?

Hello,

Are you referring to the Jailbreak files (.deb) or .IPA?

If it's .deb you are supposed to download, just rename the file to make sure it has a .deb extension then you should get the install option in Filza instead of extracting.

I’m looking for the IPA files within the zip, in the mean time i can use sideloady but the problem is I find it hard to use my PC as im hardly home

Some games within IOSGods download as a zip file ( as i use Filza i tend to download the IPA directly instead of using a pc and sideloading) then i can use Filza to extract the zip which allows me to explore the files, the only problem i have is that with the  zipped files i cant find the IPA for the game so there is nothing to download

As for a quick solve, IPA files are ZIP files. So Filza will popup with a menu saying extract and you might be confusing the two. If not, then yeah try exploring the ZIP archive and seeing there's a README somewhere as the installation instructions might differ from a regular sideload

Hmm, if that’s the case how would I download it then, because if it installs as a plain IPA I can just tap on it but tapping on the zips just extracts them and if I’m honest I’m not willing to try every option just in case I ruin the files

Finally figured out how to work it as I am highly intellectually challenged, hold the zip and press rename and drag the select over ‘.zip’ and delete that part, Filza will then treat it like a normal .ipa
