I am new to this mod. Can someone tell me if I need to pay attention to anything. I saw some post complain about losing data when update? Should I issue password everymonth to keep in safe place in case the game update?

Someone please help me, I apply the hack fine, set permissions to 0777 and also tried 0755 but every time after the first game, when I launch it again it crashes. I have to reinstall the game and hack every time
