Hello guys! I know there are a lot of beginners out there that are new to Cydia and want to know the most useful Cydia tweaks, not just for performance, but also for appearance! I mean who doesn't want their phone looking spazzy ;) So I've come up with this top 10 list that'll hopefully benefit you guys, here we go:

Hidden Content

#1. Winterboard - This is an obvious one, like what is jailbreaking without winterboard.. Seriously. This lets you add a whole bunch of new customized themes, icons, lockscreens, and more! You can either install these themes from Cydia repos or make them yourself, which I do.

#2. Barrel - Now this is definitely worth mentioning.. Barrel lets you add cool animated gestures when you swipe between your apps, it has tons of cool animations that just add that extra flare to your iPhone! :D

#3. iFile - Now any hacker should know what this is.. This lets you access app files right off your phone instead of going on the computer and connecting to a USB and doing all that work. Because of iFile we can create so many modifications and hacks to games and apps it's ridiculous. To be honest.. Most of the hacks on these forums can't be shared without iFile!

#4. AppCake - This is basically an app that lets you get paid apps from the App Store for free. It generates links off the web in which the paid app is saved to and lets you download it off that link, but some links may not work at times. Extremely useful.. Another alternative can be LinkStore, which lets you download straight off the AppStore but has less download links than AppCake.

#5. Activator - Activator lets you set certain commands to a particular set of buttons or gestures. For example.. If you wanted to open up your favorite app with activator you can set the activation dial as "Pressing the home button 3 times" so once you press it 3 times your favorite app will come up.. One of my personal favorites !

#6. Flex 2 - This is a widely used tweak that lets you download patches to apps on your iPhone. It's quick to find a reliable hack if you just browse on over to the cloud share tab and simply find a pre-made patch created by someone else who shared it. Though it is useful, many of the patches do not work since it doesn't allocate all of the data and files from the apps.

#7. Slices - This tweak makes things a whole lot easier.. It basically lets you conveniently switch between accounts on apps such as Instagram or Snapchat with ease, no need to ware your fingers out always typing in the same account info!

#8. Springtomize 2 - Now springtomize is very useful if you want to basically "optimize" your phone. You can customize pretty much every single aspect of your phone and feel like you're a king controlling every single soldier. It's very useful towards appearance/customization.

#9. RecognizeMe - I just had to put this one on here because it's so cool, you might not agree with me and that's fine but I just find this amazing. You can take pictures of yourself that captures the shape and detail of your face and saves it, so the next time you try to unlock your phone it can just recognize your face and unlock by itself! Genius!

#10. CyDelete - This is one of the most useful tweaks I've installed because before I got it, I hated going all the way back into Cydia just to uninstall unwanted apps.. This lets you delete the Cydia app from your home screen just like if you were to delete a normal app from the App Store! Just hold it and press the little "x" in the top left corner. Very beneficial to save time

Hopefully this little top 10 of mine helped you guys and taught you a bit of Cydia basics and such. Good luck!
