Only way to save battery is to cut down on tweaks/apps that run in the background and phone usage.

Those are things that are running on your system. You should be able to tell them from their name.

 

I understand what many of them are, it's just understanding which ones are uneccessary and understanding what would have a substantial change on my device's battery life. Ever since I jailbroke, my battery life went from 12 hours of moderate use to 1 to 2 hours max.

Go into safe mode and see if it lasts longer. If it does, you will need to start uninstalling tweaks you don't use/need.

 

I only have 3 tweaks in my settings and I have the same battery life as you do when browsing via Safari.

I dont have that many tweaks or apps installed. I removed over half since the battery problem. I have battery saver, battery life, filza, iapcrazy, icleaner, ifile, localiapstore, ios terminal, movie box, true radio, and openssh.

How odd. I went into safe mode and my battery jumped to 100% when in battery life it is at 94.51%

Google how to calibrate your battery.

In safe mode the discharge current is about 200 mA. When it is not in safe mode it is at 300 to 400 mA.

Yeah, tweaks are using your battery also.

Forget what I said. It just spiked to 500 at the lowest brightness in safe mode

I dont even know anymore. It will go from 100 mA to 500 mA without touching anything
