Help/Support Device over Heating problem.

I bought my iPhone 5about a week in a half ago it started getting real hot within 3 or 4 mins of sending a text msg went to plug it up to charge and will not charge . What can be done to solve this issue

Buy an Apple cord and wall charger from Apple. It costs more but it'll work.

Usually third party cables tend to fry up an iPhone and sometimes they give that annoying pop up that says "device not supported"

i m using a genuine cable and iphone is not over heating during charge.

when i use the iphone for example watching video or texting or surfing on internet etc etc then iphone becomes very warm.

Are you using a case? Is the ambient a bit hot around you?
