Account still needs activation!!

Hi. My account still requires activation. I can’t activate my app+ account (it’s a one year subscription so I know my account is still good) through the app! When I open the app it’s telling me to activate. Please help!! And for those of us affected? Will our membership be extended for having to deal with this?
