Appears to be still broken - Current level is 2 with the current XP at 318, XP to next level at -12 - When interacting or doing anything related to the creatures, you get a continuous loop of "Magizoologist Level Up!" with your current level, and "Brilliant / Continue" - selecting it loops the message over and over again until you force close the app. I'm working around this by doing a custom install to flip to the original for a few minutes to complete that section.
