It’s still stuck on checking for updates for me. Should I update my iOS to the latest version? Because the normal version from App Store works just fine for me. Would that fix the issue? @Laxus

No idea, don't ask me. Depend on your iOS version, I tested on my IPX 16.6.2 and iPad Pro 18.6, no issue
