Help/Support checkra1n jailbreak stops working after restart?

So i just learned how to jailbreak my ipad using checkra1n tutorial on youtube. I learned about iosgods and how to install .deb cydia cheats using chrome and filza. It took a while to figure everything out so Im still learning all this slowly.

My noob problem is after I turn off or restart my ipad everything jailbroken no longer works. I have to completely uninstall cydia, and checkra1n before starting over at step one again.  Where did I go wrong?

CheckRa1n is a tethered Jailbreak, so after rebooting you will need to run CheckRa1n app again to "enable" the Jailbreak. 

Or just don't turn off your device and you should be fine.

When you restart your phone, it dies, or you turn it off your phone will lose its JB. You need to respring in order to not lose your JB.

As Rook and Zozo said, it is a bootrom exploit, making it a thetered jailbreak, if you do close or fully reboot your device, you will have to re-jailbreak every time.

 

What you can do is;

1- Respring (“soft reboot”/graphical interface restart)

2- LDRestart which reboots down to the kernel but doesn’t reboot the phone completely (closer to a full reboot, but isn’t.)
