Guide Common Problem Fixes for 4.0.0 Unc0ver Jailbreak

The first A12-A13 jailbreak was just recently released!

As with most things, it comes with a few problems.  Here are a few, and how to fix them...

1)  iPhone 11 (not iPhone 11 max) crashes right after jailbreak?

        This is caused by using AltStore.  Try using another way to download unc0ver instead for now

*Make sure you also delete any pending OTA 13.3.1.  If you didn't do that and rebot your phone, launch unc0ver, go to settings and toggle on reinstall Cydia, then hit jailbreak. Should fix.

 

2)  Can't download Apps or update them?

     Download Appsync.  This seems to indirectly fix the problem.

3) Not getting notifications anymore?

         Reboot into non jailbreak mode, uncheck Disable Updates, Disable Revoke, and Set get-task-allow in unco0ver and try again.

 

Alternative fix-  First download CCModules and add the LDRestart to the Control Center within the settings app under Control Center.You will also have to add a repo which will do it for you automatically when you click it in Control center.

Once you do this you can click on the LDRestart icon in control center. (Wait about 30 seconds after you unlock for phone to fully restart up)  Once you do this you’ll get message notifications after a little bit.  Doing an LDRestart twice will allow it to work on the lock screen as well!

 

4) Jailbreak Detection for banking apps, etc?  Not unique to this version of unc0ver, but...

Download Apps Manager from Cydia and remove all data from the app.  Then, delete the app.  Next, Download liberty lite (beta) 0.2.12 from https://ryleyangus.com/repo .  Reinstall the app from the  AppStore but DO NOT OPEN THE APP YET.  Enable the app in liberty lite, and then you should be good to go.

***If you do not see preference bundles for liberty lite head to http://rpetri.ch/repo and install AppList which will also install rocketbootstrap

Choicy is also said to works for some apps. 

Certain apps like Outlook can be used using a combination ofAppStore++ downgrade to and being version 4.20 (for outlook specifically) or below and then using liberty.

Nothing is 100% working for everything yet  unfortunately
