Remove activation code to unlock Iphone XR

    Hi there,

     

    I doubt this is possible, and have been hunting on information on how to do this but with no success.  Basically i obtained a phone from someone as payment for a debt and I stupidly agreed. I'm not used to using Iphones and didn't know about the icloud activation lock feature.  

    The phone is an XR, system version 13.3

    Is there any way to get past the activation lock so I can register phone as new?  I've managed to do a factory reset, however during activation, it states the phone is linked to an apple ID hence the activation lock.  I tried too many times and its now saying Apple ID Disabled for security reasons.  I've tried those stupid Youtube videos for icloud bypass etc where you change a bunch of wifi settings when setting it up yet none have worked. 

    Apparently this is a good phone so I would like to be able to use it however I fear its now junk.  There is no way I can find out details of the original user so was hoping for an unauthorised way around this.

     

    Any help guys?
