DIY Hack Boom Beach Modded Server (DNS Version) - Unlimited Currency!

As you might know, you can play on private modded servers for SuperCell games to have access to unlimited currency to upgrade everything and feel very accomplished.

They usually involve going into iFile and editing the hosts file.

However, I feel like the DNS version of the modded servers is a lot faster in terms of setting it up, as well as a lot more noob friendly.

But before you do it, let's review the pros and cons of it.

Pros:

• You get unlimited currency

• Can buy and upgrade everything

Cons:

• Boom Beach modded servers are still in the Alpha versions so they might go down every once in a while because of updates

• Updates on servers might cause your modded accounts to be reset (Servers being in Alpha and all...)

• You cannot PVP yet (Will be added later on)

• Won't have communications with people in the actual SuperCell servers

1. Jailbroken device

(I tried it on a unjailbroken device but I couldn't get it to work. Might've done something wrong)

Launch Boom Beach and enjoy

I've only launched the app for a few minutes and messed with a few things but everything seems to be working just fine. However, I haven't tested everything out. So if something doesn't work, that's not in my control.

Answers to questions/ issues you might have

1. "When I try to go online, it says that I'm not connected to the Internet"

- Go back to the settings app and delete the DNS. That will cause the DNS to go back to the default, and you'll be able to use the Internet once again.

2. "I deleted it to go online, how do I go back to the modded server?"

- Repeat the steps. Enter the DNS I provided and you'll be all good to go (A hassle I know. Which is why I said to write it down and or copy it) (Paste it in your Notes app)

3. "If I delete the DNS to browse online, and I add it again, will my progress be lost in Boom Beach?"

- No.

4. "If I have multiple jailbroken devices, will the progress sync with my Game Center?"

- Haven't tried that yet, thus I'll report back when I get the chance.

5. "Is this temporary and will I lose connection after a few minutes?"

-You'll lose connection if you leave the game idle. Nothing else.

6. "Will this effect my legit account I've worked so hard for?"

- No. Different servers.

7. "Do I enter "IP: XXX.XXX.XX.XXX""?

-No. Just the "XXX.XXX.XX.XXX"
