Help/Support Change data storage location of a cloned app

Hi friends,

I am trying to clone an application called "Dofus Touch".

I hooked the application with CrackerXI 1.1.8, modified "CFBundleIdentifier" and "CFBundleName" and installed it with AppSync 60.0.

When I launch the application, I have no problem.

But when I play with both apps at the same time, the game starts to bug.

After some research, this is what I discovered:
-In the /private/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application directory, there are 2 folders, one for "DOFUS Touch" and one for "DOFUS Touch 2". But the folder "DOFUS Touch 2" weighs only a few MB while that of "DOFUS Touch" weighs nearly 50.

In fact, the cloned application uses the data from the original application.

Is there a way for apps to behave like 2 well-distilled apps?
I tested Slices, but it does not work.
I can provide you the ipa of the cloned app if you need it.

How do you play with both apps at the same time? On 2 different devices?

Are you using the Same Game Center?

I use BackgrounderAction for CCSupport which removes the application's standby in the background.
And I switch between 2 applications, to play 2 accounts in the same fights.

The game does not use Game Center.

Small precision, when I used an iPad Pro 11" under iOS 12.4, I had no problem at all. Both applications used different data.
The only two variables that there is with today is that it was an A12 processor and I installed the app with Cydia Impactor.
Maybe the installation of an app via Cydia Impactor is different from the one via AppSync, but can not be tested because of the recent update of the Apple servers ...

Hi all, I finally found the solution !!

I patched the cracked IPA by CrackerXI using IOS App Signer from a VM and creating a signing certificate via XCode.

I followed this tutorial: slashedm.gitbook.io
And I stopped at the creation of the IPA.

Once the IPA patched, I used the latest beta version of Reprovision to install the application. Do not forget to Revoke the certificate created from XCode with Reprovision otherwise it will not be able to install the app.

FYI, the app patched via IOS App Signer can not be installed via AppSync.

This technique currently allows you to install and duplicate any cracked app yourself without having to worry.

After verification, the 2 folders "Dofus Touch" and "Dofus Touch2" weigh well 50 Mb each and there are no more bug.
The 2 apps are distinct.
