Well, most of the members doesn't know how to post the image in right way etc.

 

I'm sure that you used google or bing to search for app's icon and copied the link

 

Example of wrong link (without img tag):

https://lh3.ggpht.com/a_zUJVbmkSHuRH0bpFbhDW99wV1cyoY-LpGO8kq-mpZQokkUK5-FWiOQyY2VVTSrVQI=h900

Opps.. you got this error "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community."

 

Why? Because the link has to end with .png , .jpeg , .jpg , .gif

Noobie way:

 

 

When you post new topic or post with "More reply opinions" this will appear, its your best friend

So what are we looking at?

 

Look at this icon "" obviously, its picture icon.

 

When you click on it and this will show popup

 

Paste the right link with .png , .gif , .jpeg or .jpg then press ok.

 

It will generate with the link and it will show on your post right away.

 

 

 

 

 

For GFX topics, any size is fine, but prefer to be in spoiler tag. Because, it makes it easier to read without having many big images in a post.

 

 

 

For Requests topics/hack, please don't post big image of app's icon or realated to it.

 

How to fix it?

 

 

For example, app's icon is like 1200 × 900 or greater

Big image:

 

 

 

 

1. Right click the image and copy image

2. Go to imgur.com

3. Paste it

4. Start Upload

 

You should see something like this:

 

Look at this size opinion

 

Click on the "Medium thumbnail"

 

Copy bbcode link

Lazy way which is to copy the link and post then member have to click the link to be able to view it
