Yep. Second thing I tried after running as admin. Still no go though :(

You might be missing something for the tool to open. Microsoft Visual C++, .NET etc.

 

Are you having issues opening the tool? It's opening fine here on Windows 8.

Tested on 2 PCs: 1 has most of the .NET versions (required by other programs), and 1 doesn't. Both Windows 10. To my knowledge, neither was listed as a requirement though, right? I mean I'm willing to try stuff out, if I know it's not just aimless.

 

Also, error I get is:

Unhandled Exception: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
   at FalloutShelterDecrypt.Main(String[] args)

Requirements for the program to run on a PC? The author has not specified any at all.

 

I'm just going with the conclusion that maybe the tool needs updating for Windows 10.

 

Maybe @@superkhung might shed some light on this.

Looks like you run the app without argument, try to run "app.exe filename" in console (Command Prompt not Powershell) or just drag file to the exe.

well. i hope i can figure this out, thanks a ton! this will help me get back my friend's progress that he lost during a corrupted game save (hopefully). I dont want to cheat everything in the game >.>
