Help/Support Update your device without restore

I have been searching for a clear answer and i can not seem to find it

 

Is there a way to update your device from 8.1 to 8.4 WITHOUT having to do a phone restore?

 

if not, how can i back up all my applications jailbroken and non jail broken?

Yes but you can install an app from Cydia called "App Info" and email yourself your Sources list and packages list.

 

There's also PKGBackup and other backup tweaks for backing up your tweaks but I suggest setting everything up again fresh.

 

I think restoring from a backup when tweaks were installed will get some settings back also.
