The game has been updated, this might most likely be the cause, wait a short while, I bet the hack will be updated too.  

If super-cell finds out you are using hacks THEY WILL INSTANTLY BAN YOU. I know I know, we all hate it. But they have already banned several accounts and mentioned it in their upcoming changes. They are encouraging "Fair Play" which limits the ability to troll.

Bought a refurbished apple tv, it was fine for a while but then the symptoms appeared, slow as hell and issues with output.

Hey, sorry to hear about this, your phone is quite old, and I guess has been through a lot, my iPhone 5 running 9.3.2 works like a charm and perfectly fine. Yes you are going to have to take it to a pro or buy a new screen and find a video on how to replace it.
