This save file works with version 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 of the game. Trickery is required for the latest 2.0.0 update to get the save working. I had the 2.0.0 update applied on a non-jailbroken (and un-jailbreakable) iPhone. I installed a tweak on my jailbroken iPod that allows downgrading apps in the App Store (App Admin). Downgraded chrono trigger from 2.0.0 to 1.0.6. Navigated to /Documents folder inside the Chrono Trigger app folder. This is not your iDevice's default Documents folder. Filza in Cydia helped heaps with finding chrono trigger's folder location. Loaded the hacked save in 1.0.6 chrono trigger after pasting in /chronotrigger/documents/, then saved the save to an unused slot in-game. Next I upgraded to 2.0.0 from the App Store, the hacked save did not show but the new save I made (carrying over all the hacked items) was loadable. Finally I synced 2.0.0 chrono trigger save using the cloud save feature, and downloaded that on my unjailbroken iphone. Hopefully this helps anyone else looking.
