She is in a very toxic relationship and said she needed help a year ago finacially so we helped her and co-signed on a loan to get her out of debt little did we know she was hiding the fact that she didn't leave the guy they just moved elsewhere and 2 months ago she went into a consumer proposal and didn't tell us so we ended up having to pay back the loan.  She doesn't talk to her dad or myself because we told her as long as shes with the loser she won't get anymore help from us.  When shes ready to come home and get the help she needs the door will swing open.  Shes in her 30s and I'm too old to deal with his drugs not working lazy ass thinking he's a great gamer and can make a living playing (not creating) video games

@mizteribear Wow, that sucks. I’d hate to live my life as him. Hopefully one day she sees what he’s worth & does the right thing. Sounds like you’re a great mother. Wish I could say the same about mine
